Sportsmanship Policy

Jam On It is dedicated to creating a positive and respectful environment for all participants, coaches, parents, and spectators. Our Sportsmanship Policy strictly prohibits fighting, bullying, aggressive behavior, racial slurs, and discriminatory actions. This policy ensures that every participant enjoys a safe, supportive, and competitive experience.

Expectations and Consequences: Any display of aggression or unsportsmanlike conduct will lead to serious consequences for individuals and teams involved. Such incidents may result in suspension from Jam On It events, both at state and national levels, with the possibility of indefinite bans based on the behavior's severity. In extreme cases, Jam On It reserves the right to pursue formal criminal charges.

Coaches are responsible for promoting this respectful culture and ensuring their teams uphold these standards. We encourage coaches to share this policy with all athletes and parents, fostering sportsmanship at every level of competition.

Spectator Behavior: Jam On It values enthusiastic support from parents and spectators, which contributes to a vibrant youth sports atmosphere. However, we do not engage in any toxic energy, including over-emotional or disruptive behaviors. Spectators are expected to set a positive example of respect and composure for all children present. Should behavior become disruptive, the spectator may be asked to leave the event, and their child may also be required to leave. In severe cases, the Tournament Director has the authority to clear the court if necessary, and no refunds will be issued.

The following behaviors are not permitted:
